Job summary

Citizens First National Bank in Storm Lake, IA, is seeking a Trust Operations Specialist to join our fast-paced Wealth Management division. The role handles daily transactions, posting, asset coordination, tax estimates, and reporting with high accuracy and strong customer service.

Responsibilities include balancing assets, preparing financial reports, onboarding or transferring assets, tax filings, and staff training while maintaining compliance and timely delivery of services.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of retirement plans, taxation and investments is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Input of dividends and interest payments, as well as newly purchased securities.
• Posting daily transactions for all types of Trust accounts including retirement and farm management.
• Balancing assets and preparing financial reports.
• Record debit and credit transactions and understand general ledger entries.
• Coordinate onboarding or transfer of assets.
• Ensure tax estimates are paid and all tax filings are complete in the appropriate timeframe.
• Answer phone calls and greet customers.
• Meet and greet customers.
• Assist in training new employees to ensure policies and procedures are being followed.
