Cerity Partners is seeking a Practice Development Officer to support growth and execution across wealth management practices in the U.S. This role drives client acquisition, relationship management, and marketing initiatives while ensuring operational effectiveness and regulatory alignment.

Ideal candidates have a strong financial background, leadership skills, and the ability to translate data into strategic growth plans. Travel up to 20% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 10+ years in wealth management or related roles.
• Strong understanding of wealth management models and client relationships.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic business plans.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Experience in marketing, client acquisition and lead generation.
• Knowledge of HR policies and employee relations is a plus.
• Excellent leadership and communication of complex financial data.
• Ability to analyze data and trends to guide decisions.
• Proficiency with CRM, marketing tools and financial planning software.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate trusted relationships with practices and develop growth plans.
• Develop and execute client acquisition, retention and revenue strategies.
• Facilitate lead flow and optimize internal processes.
• Provide guidance on P&L performance and market trends.
• Onboard and train new advisory personnel.
• Maintain practice reporting and key performance metrics.
• Support onboarding of new practices and integration with offerings.
• Ensure adherence to firm policies and regulatory requirements.
