Jambalaya Group in Calabasas, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Paraplanner to join our private wealth advisory practice. You will support advisors by preparing financial planning deliverables, analyzing client information, creating charts, and developing portfolio recommendations to align with client goals and timelines.

The role emphasizes collaboration with advisors, thorough client service, and ongoing licensing and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two or more years of financial services industry experience preferred.
• Previous paraplanner, financial planning, client service, or advisor support role strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with advisors and team members.

Responsabilités

• Prepare financial planning recommendations and initial product solutions for advisor review and use in client meetings.
• Gather, review, and analyze client financial information to support planning strategies and recommendations.
• Prepare charts, graphs, tables, and other visual aids for client presentations and implementation meetings.
• Develop portfolio and product solution recommendations that align with client goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon.
• Maintain client communication throughout the financial planning process.
• Respond to client inquiries and provide account servicing support as appropriate and allowable.
• Review and update client information in preparation for client review meetings.
• Attend and participate in client meetings as needed.
• Coordinate and track projects, follow-up items, and ongoing planning initiatives.
• Perform additional practice management and client service responsibilities as assigned.
