Job summary

Jambalaya Group, a private wealth advisory practice, seeks a detail-oriented Paraplanner to support advisors throughout the financial planning process. You will gather client data, analyze information, prepare planning deliverables, and assist with ongoing client service in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two or more years of financial services experience preferred.
• Paraplanner, financial planning or advisor support experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial planning recommendations and initial product solutions for advisor review and use in client meetings.
• Gather, review, and analyze client financial information to support planning strategies and recommendations.
• Prepare charts, graphs, tables, and other visual aids for client presentations and implementation meetings.
• Develop portfolio and product solution recommendations that align with client goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon.
• Maintain client communication throughout the financial planning process.
• Respond to client inquiries and provide account servicing support as appropriate and allowable.
• Review and update client information in preparation for client review meetings.
• Attend and participate in client meetings as needed.
• Coordinate and track projects, follow-up items, and ongoing planning initiatives.
• Perform additional practice management and client service responsibilities as assigned.
