This position will play a vital role in supporting Wealth Strategists and Wealth Advisors by providing solutions to core planning issues, including goals-based cash flow planning, budgeting, retirement planning, education funding, investment allocation, and estate, trust, tax and charitable strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Increasing level of financial planning and investment knowledge through practice and support of planning teams and Wealth Advisors
  • Data gathering and collection
  • Completes financial plans, investment reports, tax and estate analysis as requested
  • Prepare for and attend client meetings documenting task items and coordinating client service execution under the Associate Wealth Advisor and/or Wealth Advisor
  • Limited oversight on simple projects and plans
  • Actively observe and learn complex planning strategy and approach
  • Attends networking events and begins to build relationships in the community and with COI peers

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • CFP, CFA, CPA, JD, or MBA required
  • Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • eMoney experience, preferred
  • Strong integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational abilities
  • A proactive approach to work, with the ability to take ownership of projects and see them through to completion

Competencies

  • Financial planning and investment principles, including processes and procedures
  • Technology: Salesforce, Portfolio Accounting Software, DocuSign, Microsoft Suite, Planning & Investment Software

Physical Requirements

  • This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.   • This position may require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.

U.S. Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. For U.S. employment opportunities, Corient hires U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Corient will require proof of work authorization.
  • Corient participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S. If E-Verify cannot confirm that you are authorized to work, this employer is required to give you written instructions and an opportunity to contact Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Social Security Administration (SSA) so you can begin to resolve the issue before the employer can take any action against you, including terminating your employment. Employers can only use E-Verify once you have accepted a job offer and completed the Form I-9.
