Job summary

Bank of America’s Merrill Wealth Management is seeking an operations professional to handle moderately complex transaction processing, onboarding, and asset transfers with thorough adherence to policies (FINRA 2273, REG BI, CRS).

The role requires at least 2 years in investment operations, strong time management, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines; travel up to 90% to branch offices is expected, with office-based attendance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an investment operations role or equivalent.
• Project management experience
• Excellent time management skills
• Intermediate knowledge of Financial Services Industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, OneNote.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Works well under pressure and handles confidential matters responsibly.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong written/verbal communication and relationship management skills.
• Champion process knowledge and operational excellence; maintain integrity and policy compliance.
• Highly organized, meticulous and self-motivated; able to lead teammates on transitions.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 90% to Merrill Branch offices.
• Maintain knowledge of account opening policy and general bank policies.
• End-to-end client onboarding and asset transfer process.
• Create executive level transition tracking progress for onsite projects.
• Facilitate client meetings with FAs and CAs on onboarding questions.
• Coordinate training for new CAs on transitions.
• Assist Branch personnel with account transfers and LMA processing.
• Ensure rigorous onboarding document tracking and compliance (FINRA 2273, REG BI, CRS).
• Perform moderately complex transaction processing and reconciliation.
• Respond to moderately complex client inquiries to support operations and service quality.
• Analyze and resolve moderately complex transactions and escalate when needed.
• Identify risks and opportunities for process improvements across units.
