Job summary

Bank of America in Tampa is seeking an Onboarding & Maintenance Specialist to support Merrill Wealth Management brokerage accounts. The role focuses on processing account onboarding, maintenance, and documentation within established guidelines, while delivering quality service to internal partners and external clients.

You will handle moderate research, coordinate with senior staff on complex cases, and contribute to risk-aware process improvements.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience supporting Merrill Wealth Management brokerage accounts in service or operations.
Experience managing a high-volume personal caseload, prioritizing work to meet 48-hour turnaround times.
Ability to apply judgment within guidelines to resolve routine exceptions while maintaining risk awareness.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective internal/external interaction.
Flexibility to work hours 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Performs onboarding and maintenance of accounts and reviews required documentation for accuracy.
Reviews and approves required account documentation, obtaining legal review or approved exceptions when needed.
Performs moderate levels of research, follow-up and resolution of routine requests.
Identifies process improvements and uses control reports to support operational risk management.
Responds to client inquiries via multiple channels with status updates and follow-ups.
Understands end-to-end process flow and its upstream/downstream impacts across operations.
