Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced Operations Specialist in Jacksonville to manage moderately complex transaction processing and onboarding services for Merrill Wealth Management clients. You will support asset transfers, account openings, and client inquiries, coordinating with Financial Advisors and Clients Associates while maintaining compliance with FINRA and CRS rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an investment operations role or equivalent.
• Project management experience
• Excellent time management skills
• Intermediate knowledge of Financial Services Industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, OneNote.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal/external contacts to promote expeditious problem resolution.
• Works well under pressure and handles confidential information responsibly.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong written/verbal communication and relationship management skills.
• Champion process knowledge, operational excellence and integrity.
• Highly organized, meticulous and self-motivated with problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of leading teammates on transitions, including high-profile projects.

Responsibilities

• Up to 90% travel required to Merrill Branch offices and flexible to meet varying hours/days when necessary.
• Maintain clear line of sight on account opening policy and procedures with knowledge of general bank policies.
• End-to-end client onboarding and asset transfer process including systems, documentation, follow-up, and follow-through.
• Create executive level transition tracking progress for onsite projects.
• Facilitate client meetings with FAs and CAs regarding onboarding and asset transfer questions.
• Coordinate training for new CAs or internal Merrill CAs in transitions.
• Assist Branch personnel in account transfers and 529 plan changes.
• Ensure rigorous tracking and inspection of onboarding documents for compliance (FINRA 2273, REG BI and CRS).
• Perform moderately complex transaction processing and reconciliation with medium to large monetary impact.
• Respond to moderately complex client inquiries to support efficiency and service.
• Analyze and resolve moderately complex transactions with escalations as needed.
• Identify risks and opportunities for process improvements across units.
