Job summary

Plante Moran, PLLC seeks a Director of Wealth Management Technology to align IT with wealth management strategy, drive innovation, and oversee the technology product portfolio across the practice. You will partner with leadership to accelerate delivery, shape enterprise IT strategy, and grow the delivery team.

You will report to the CIO and collaborate with IT leaders to optimize roadmaps, budgets, and staffing, ensuring business outcomes and executive alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred in technology or business.
• 15+ years in technology domain roles with consulting and IT experience preferred.
• 5+ years of leadership in innovation, strategy and solution delivery.
• Wealth Management industry domain experience in technology leadership roles preferred.
• Experience with Product Management Operating Model and Agile delivery.
• Ability to create strategy, roadmaps and drive delivery excellence with business leadership.
• Strong interpersonal skills and executive presentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Wealth Management leadership as a strategic technology advisor for business strategy and goals.
• Co-lead portfolio of business technology ideas from envisioning through delivery and operations.
• Lead design and evolution of Wealth Management product management and delivery resources.
• Ensure roadmaps for business goals via technology value delivery are in place.
• Stay abreast of technology/vender changes and share opportunities or risks.
• Provide strategic oversight on scoping and execution with stakeholder alignment.
• Oversee IT investment plans and resource forecasts with transparent co-ownership with Wealth Management.
• Ensure engagement from leadership on projects and product initiatives.
