Job summary

D.A. Davidson offers a Wealth Management Summer Internship where you will work directly with experienced Financial Advisors and other financial professionals, gaining hands-on exposure to the financial services industry within our 91-year-old employee-owned firm.

The program runs for 9 weeks with a minimum of 25 hours per week and includes an immersive week at our Seattle corporate office, plus sponsorship to study for the SIE exam if completed during the program.

Qualifications

• Sophomore year completed by June 2027.
• Strong academic performance and professional drive.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, teamwork, and service skills.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Background, reference and credit check expected.
• Ability to commit to the duration of the program.
• Live within the local area of branch office or have arrangements to live locally for the duration.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with experienced Financial Advisors and other financial professionals.
• Observe how a wealth management practice operates ethically and effectively.
• Collaborate on projects supporting Advisors and their clients.
• Participate in hands-on activities at branch offices and during the Seattle week.
