Job summary

D.A. Davidson's Wealth Management Summer Internship Program offers hands-on exposure in a trusted, employee-owned firm.

Interns work with experienced Financial Advisors and finance professionals, gaining insight into wealth management and client service while supporting real projects. Participants will have a dedicated week in our Seattle corporate office with leadership sessions, and an optional pathway to the FINRA SIE exam sponsored during the 9-week program.

Qualifications

• Sophomore year must be completed by June 2027.
• Strong academic performance and professional drive.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, teamwork, and service skills.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Background, reference, and credit check satisfactory.
• Ability to commit to the duration of the program.
• Live within the local area or have arrangements to live nearby; transportation/moving assistance not provided.

Responsibilities

• Observe and learn from experienced Financial Advisors.
• Collaborate on projects supporting Financial Advisors and clients.
• Gain hands-on experience in wealth management and client service.
• Participate in activities including an immersive Seattle week and leadership presentations.
