Job summary

D.A. Davidson Companies offers a Wealth Management Summer Internship Program, a paid internship in which interns work closely with experienced Financial Advisors and other professionals.

The program lasts 9 weeks with a minimum of 25 hours per week, and includes an immersive Seattle week and an opportunity to study for the FINRA SIE exam with sponsor support. Interns gain hands-on experience, build their professional network, and observe the day-to-day operations of a wealth management practice

Qualifications

• Sophomore year of college completed before June 2027.
• Strong academic record and professional drive.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, teamwork, and service skills.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Background, reference, and credit checks will be satisfactory.

Responsibilities

• Observe experienced Financial Advisors and other professionals to learn how the practice operates.
• Collaborate on projects that support Financial Advisors and their clients.
• Gain hands-on experience in wealth management and client service.
• Study for the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, with sponsor support during the 9-week program.
