Job summary

Busey Bank is seeking a Managing Director, Wealth to lead a local Wealth Advisory team in the St. Louis market. The role focuses on acquiring new clients, delivering comprehensive wealth management services, and mentoring team members to grow professionally.

You will work with senior leadership to align regional growth with company-wide initiatives. Key responsibilities include driving new business development, coordinating service delivery, and nurturing client relationships to ensure retention

Qualifications

Four-year college degree required.
7+ years in Wealth Management or Financial Advisory.
Professional designations CFP, CFA, CPA, CTFA or MBA preferred.
Prior team leadership experience preferred.
Experience with wealth management solutions including investments, banking, trust, planning and tax.
Ongoing development and broadening of knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

Drive new business development and lead Wealth Advisory team to meet revenue targets.
Coordinate delivery of wealth management services to individuals, families and institutions.
Mentor and coach team members to grow technical knowledge and relationship skills.
Develop market-specific and company-wide growth initiatives.
Represent Wealth Advisory on cross-functional teams and implement changes.
Plan client recognition and prospecting events and support community partnerships.
