Job summary

Key Investment Services Internship offers a 10.5-week exposure to the wealth management industry in Toledo, OH. Interns work with a Private Client Advisor, assist in financial planning, and learn data entry, client communication, and events planning.

Applicants pursue a four-year or graduate degree by May 2029; CFP program participation is preferred. A 3.0 GPA and leadership experience are valued, with emphasis on professional development and networking within KeyCorp.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year or graduate-degree by May 2029 with focus on finance, accounting, economics, and/or data science.
• Participation in the CFP program and CFP exam prior to graduation is preferred.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrated leadership with teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a KIS Private Client Advisor to gain hands-on experience.
• Participate in client discovery and financial planning activities including data entry and analysis.
• Observe client meetings and assist with basic administrative tasks.
• Develop client relationships and interpersonal communication skills.
• Digitize client files and verify client email information.
• Manage Salesforce book and assist in planning client events.
• Engage in Key Corp Enterprise learning labs and networking events.
• Collaborate on a Capstone Group Project addressing real-world industry topics.
• Comply with all KeyBank policies and procedures.
