Job summary

KeyBank is offering a structured 10.5-week internship thru Key Investment Services in Albany, OR, designed to expose students to wealth management. You will work with a Private Client Advisor, participate in client discovery, and gain experience in financial planning, data analysis, and relationship building.

The program emphasizes learning labs, capstone projects, and networking events, with a focus on professional growth and potential long-term opportunities at KeyBank.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year or graduate-level degree by May 2029 with coursework in finance, accounting, economics, and/or data science.
• CFP program and CFP exam preferred.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 and demonstrated leadership.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a KIS Private Client Advisor for hands-on experience.
• Participate in client discovery and financial planning activities including data entry and analysis.
• Observe client meetings and assist with basic administrative tasks.
• Develop client relationships and interpersonal communication skills.
• Digitize client files and verify client email information.
• Manage Salesforce book and assist in planning client events.
• Engage in Key Corp Enterprise learning labs and networking events.
• Collaborate on a Capstone Group Project addressing real-world industry topics.
• Perform other duties as assigned; comply with KeyBank policies and procedures.
