Job summary

KeyBank’s Internship program in wealth management offers a 10.5-week experience running May 26, 2027 – August 6, 2027. Interns partner with a Private Client Advisor to gain hands-on experience, supporting client discovery, data entry, and planning activities while observing client meetings and assisting with administrative tasks.

Pursuing a four-year or graduate degree by May 2029 is required, with CFP preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year or graduate-level degree by May 2029 with coursework in finance, accounting, economics, and/or data science.
• CFP program participation and CFP exam completion preferred.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a KIS Private Client Advisor to gain hands-on experience.
• Support client discovery and financial planning activities including data entry and analysis.
• Observe client meetings and assist with basic administrative tasks.
• Develop client relationships and interpersonal communication skills.
• Digitize client files and verify client email information.
• Manage Salesforce book and assist in planning client events.
• Engage in Key Corp Enterprise learning labs and networking events.
• Collaborate on a Capstone Group Project addressing real-world industry topics.
• Perform other duties as assigned; duties may change with notice.
• Comply with all KeyBank policies and procedures and act professionally.
