Job summary

D.A. Davidson is an independent, employee-owned firm with a 91-year history. The Wealth Management Summer Internship offers hands-on experience in branch offices, pairing interns with seasoned Financial Advisors and support staff to learn the financial services industry.

The paid 9-week program includes an immersive Seattle week, SIE exam sponsorship, and opportunities to build wealth-management skills, professional networks, and industry insight across multiple locations including Pasadena.

Qualifications

• Must be a current college student with sophomore year completed by June 2027.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willing to commit to the 9-week duration and 25 hours per week.
• Live within local area or have arrangements; no moving assistance provided.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with experienced Financial Advisors and other professionals.
• Observe how to run a successful, ethical wealth management practice.
• Collaborate on projects that support Advisors and clients.
• Study for the FINRA SIE exam (sponsored by D.A. Davidson) during the program.
• Participate in the immersive Seattle corporate office week and leadership sessions.
