Job summary

Plante Moran Wealth Management is offering an internship designed to reflect entry-level work and provide hands-on experience with real client engagement. Interns will work with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment, gaining breadth in investment planning, tax considerations, and financial analysis.

You will assist with asset assessments, cash flow analysis, and financial objectives, and help prepare client reports with charts while supporting senior staff on research and reporting

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, economics, accounting or related field.
• Strong interest in investments and economics.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication required.
• Academic success with GPA 3.0+.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' assets, liabilities, cash flow, tax status, and financial objectives to develop investment and financial planning solutions.
• Evaluate client financial plans using investment and tax strategies and financial securities.
• Perform recurring quality control on account activity ensuring trades and distributions are provided to clients.
• Prepare reports and charts to illustrate recommendations and client matters.
