Job summary

Intention.ly is seeking a skilled content strategist and copywriter with wealth management experience to write across a portfolio of client accounts, producing clear, compliant copy for RIAs, wealth managers, broker-dealers, and fintech firms.

The ideal candidate combines strong writing with financial services fluency, develops original, compelling copy, and optimizes it for both AEO and traditional search while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of copywriting experience in financial services, wealth management, or fintech.
• Portfolio with website copy, email, social, and long-form content.
• Strong understanding of compliance in regulated financial marketing.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients, priorities, and brand voices simultaneously.
• Strong project management, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Write website copy, email campaigns, blog posts, social content, and marketing collateral for clients across wealth management, investment management and fintech.
• Translate complex financial, regulatory, and technical concepts into copy that is clear, accurate, and easy to act on.
• Write within compliance guardrails common to RIAs, broker-dealers, and investment managers.
• Develop and maintain distinct brand voices across a range of clients.
• Adapt tone and format for the channel, whether that's a landing page, a nurture email, or a LinkedIn post.
• Partner with account leads and strategists to turn client goals and briefs into high-performing copy.
• Contribute to messaging frameworks and positioning work during client onboarding and campaign planning.
• Support client meetings and reviews with copy rationale when needed.
• Edit and proofread your own work before it goes to review.
• Support peer review and quality assurance across the content team.
• Manage multiple client projects and deadlines simultaneously, maintaining high-quality output.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor messaging, and audience needs.
• Partner with paid media, design, and marketing automation teams to develop integrated client solutions.
• Apply AEO and SEO principles to copy structure and language where relevant to the client's goals.
