Job summary

Brookstone Capital Management in Wheaton, IL seeks an Advisory Fee Billing Associate to manage fee calculations, auditing, and client billing records on a full-time, on-site basis. You will collaborate across departments to ensure accurate, timely billing for Financial Advisors and external partners.

The role requires a finance or related degree and 1–3 years of billing experience, with strong analytical and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in billing, client operations, or finance.
• Understanding of basic Advisory Fee billing structures (tiered AUM, flat fees, hybrid models).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the monthly billing process, including fee calculations and auditing.
• Perform data reconciliation between portfolio accounting systems and custodians.
• Maintain and update client billing profiles, fee schedules, and account changes.
• Ensure fees are billed in accordance with client agreements and firm policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and client inquiries.
• Prepare billing-related reports for internal stakeholders and management.
• Identify and resolve billing-related disputes or discrepancies.
• Track and support new account onboarding, terminations, and billing changes.
