Job summary

CAPTRUST seeks a Wealth Client Management Associate to support Client Management Consultants in delivering outstanding client service and managing day-to-day tasks. The role involves project support, research, and proposal preparation with a focus on issue resolution and client satisfaction.

You will coordinate onboarding tasks, maintain CRM data, and assist in preparing materials for quarterly reviews, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a two- or four-year college degree from an accredited university.
  • 0-2 years of work experience is acceptable.
  • Investment industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver proactive client service to the Wealth Client Service team and handle client questions and ad hoc requests.
  • Assist CMCs in preparing quarterly reviews, proposals, and client materials including printing and mailing.
  • Maintain client information in CAPCONNECT CRM and assist with SharePoint document uploads.
  • Handle client service functions including new account paperwork, mail, reports, and contracts.
  • Assist in client onboarding and recurring tasks; coordinate with firm-wide associates.
  • Greet office guests and answer phone calls in a professional manner.
  • Assist in scheduling, calendars, and task confirmation.

Job description

CAPTRUST is seeking a Wealth Client Management Associatewho uses specialized knowledge and skills, obtained through experience and/or formal training, to assist Client Management Consultants (CMCs) in providing excellent client service. The candidate for this role provides day-to-day support, project management assistance, and partners with the CMC to research and resolve issues. The candidate also recommends solutions to moderately complex problems.

Primary responsibilities may include the following, amongst others:

  • Deliver exceptional, proactive service to the Wealth Client Service team, which includes resolving client questions, processing transactions, and responding to ad hoc requests
  • Work closely with CMCs to prepare quarterly reviews, proposals, and other client-related materials; this includes preparing the documents, printing, binding, and mailing
  • Maintain updated client contact information within the CRM system (CAPCONNECT); assist with ongoing CAPCONNECT maintenance including gathering and uploading documents to SharePoint records
  • Handles Client Service functions including new account paperwork, mailing correspondence, reports, and contracts
  • Assist CMCs with various client onboarding and recurring tasks
  • Partners with associates from various offices firm-wide
  • Greet office guests in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner
  • Answer phone calls with a welcoming and positive demeaner; ensure phone calls are directed to the appropriate team member
  • Assist in scheduling, calendaring, and confirming tasks, activities, and appointments
  • Perform other duties and special projects as required, including firm-wide initiatives
  • Some additional responsibilities may include:
  • Maintain office, kitchen/breakroom area (keep area always stocked and clean) including office supplies
  • Open and distribute mail as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of a two or four-year college degree from an accredited university or 0-2 years of work experience
  • Investment industry experience a plus

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and PDF
  • Excellent math skills and the ability to quickly grasp financial and investment concepts
