Job summary

The role focuses on client contact, file setup in case management software, calendar management, and preparing settlement documents, with an emphasis on delivering excellent client service from intake through resolution.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication, organization, and time management are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of related work experience as a legal assistant.

Responsibilities

• Contacting clients, adjusters and providers regularly with timely calls.
• Initial file setup into case management software.
• Mail management of all incoming/outgoing mail, email or fax.
• Calendar management for attorneys regarding deadlines, client meetings and events.
• Preparation of settlement documents when necessary.
• Scanning of documents to the appropriate party and/or client file.
• Close out of electronic files in a timely manner.
• Drafting of basic legal pleadings.
