Whiskey Cake is seeking a Barback to assist the bar staff in ensuring great guest experiences and smooth shifts for the entire restaurant.

Responsibilities

1. Interact professionally and positively with guests and staff.
2. Assist in filling ice wells, stocking liquor bottles, beer bottles, wine, and cordials.
3. Refill and date mixers, juices, and syrups.
4. Prepare garnishes and set up the bar for service.
5. Maintain cleanliness by emptying bus tubs, pre-bussing the bar top, and cleaning floors and surfaces.
6. Make batch cocktails according to recipes and understand the batch system.
7. Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and ready to work.
8. Use juicing machines safely and meet pars for the bar.
9. Follow management and bartender instructions.
10. Have extensive menu knowledge to answer guest questions.
11. Obtain and update necessary certifications.
12. Set up and break down the bar before and after shifts, including washing dishes.
13. Lift a minimum of 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
14. Properly use kitchen equipment and follow recipes.
