Job description

Assist the bar staff to ensure excellent guest experiences and a smooth shift for the entire restaurant.

Responsibilities:

1. Interact professionally and positively with guests and staff members.
2. Assist the bar staff with filling ice wells and stocking liquor bottles.
3. Ensure beer bottles, wine, and cordials are stocked.
4. Refill and date mixers, juices, and syrups.
5. Prepare garnishes and set up the bar for service.
6. Empty bus tubs and clean the bar top.
7. Make batch cocktails according to recipes and understand the batch system for canister changes.
8. Arrive on time, ready to work in proper uniform.
9. Use juicing machines safely and maintain par levels for the bar.
10. Follow directions from management and bartenders.
11. Have extensive knowledge of the menu and be able to answer guest questions about food or drinks.
12. Obtain and update necessary certifications.
13. Set up and break down the bar area, including cleaning floors, the bar top, and wells.
14. Empty trash cans and wash dishes using the bar dishwasher.
