Lead Delivery Stream Engineer, Cranberry Township, PA

About The Role

The Lead Delivery Stream Engineer utilizes technical knowledge to lead and oversee all procurement activities (pre‑PO and post‑PO) in the WBS 9/10 Electrical and I&C Equipment Tower within the Westinghouse APX Supply Chain organization. The candidate reports to the WBS 9 Manager, ensuring assigned electrical equipment and components are delivered on schedule, on budget, and meet all applicable technical and quality requirements.

This role is responsible for procurement of Electrical Equipment to support large‑scale new AP1000 Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) projects, working with cross‑functional teams to develop procurement strategies and execute procurement plans. The Engineer leads all procurement activities in assigned programs to assure readiness for pre‑PO and post‑PO activities and ensure predictive delivery during execution.

The position reports to the WBS 9 Electrical Equipment Manager and is located at the Cranberry Township office on a hybrid basis. No relocation will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the team in building a sourcing strategy that considers total cost of ownership (price, on‑time delivery, quality, etc.)
• Develop and implement processes and standard works within the organization.
• Build the bridge with different departments (Engineering, SPE, Global Procurement, internal stakeholders, suppliers) to develop a strong execution plan in serving our customers on time.
• Scout the market to identify modern technologies that create value for the end customer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract/project administration, preferably for large, complex engineering, procurement, and construction projects.
• Demonstrated leadership skills across cultures, languages, and locations.
• Strong analytic experience with advanced problem‑solving ability and a high attitude for ownership.
• Ability to develop and maintain long‑term productive relationships with suppliers.
• A team player collaborating with multiple regions and product lines to serve Westinghouse’s customers.

Salary

Estimated base salary range: $116,800 to $146,000 per year, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills.
