Carroll Community College, in partnership with the Heating & Air Conditioning Contractors of Maryland (HACC), seeks an HVAC professional to teach apprentices in the HVAC Apprenticeship Program. Courses run September 2026–April 2027, two evenings weekly (6:00–9:15 PM) at the Carroll Community College main campus.
Curriculum and training provided; prior teaching experience is a plus but not required. Pay grade is on the Non-credit Adjunct Faculty Scale.
Carroll Community College and the Heating & Air Conditioning Contractors of Maryland (HACC) are seeking an experienced HVAC professional to teach first- or second-year apprentices in the HVAC Apprenticeship Program. Classes are two evenings per week (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday) from 6:00‑9:15 PM on the Carroll Community College main campus. Classes run September 2026–April 2027. Curriculum and training provided. Prior teaching experience a plus but not required.
College campus, direct contact with students, staff, faculty and the general public in classrooms, common areas, offices and campus environments. Everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as office, meeting, and training rooms. Use of safe workplace practices with office equipment, computers, technical applications and new technology systems; avoidance of trips and falls; observance of fire and building safety regulations and College policies.
