Job summary

Ballast Wax, an independent European Wax Center franchisee, seeks a Wax Specialist in Elmhurst, IL. In this role you will provide expert waxing in your private suite, educate guests, and build a loyal book of business within a nationally recognized brand.

Qualifications

• Active Esthetician or Cosmetologist license in the applying state (Illinois).
• Evenings and weekends availability (full-time or part-time).
• Ability to build relationships and provide high-quality guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional waxing services in private suites in accordance with brand standards and licensing requirements.
• Greet guests with warmth and professionalism; educate on post-wax care and service frequency.
• Build loyal guest relationships and drive rebooking, product sales, and service packages.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant waxing suite; uphold sanitation standards.
