Ballast Wax, a European Wax Center franchisee, is seeking a Wax Specialist to deliver professional waxing services in your own private suite at our Bloomingdale center.

You’ll build a loyal guest book, upsell skincare, and grow with ongoing brand training and a team that supports your growth. We offer in-person, full-time and part-time schedules, a competitive hourly base with bonuses and tips.

Qualifications

• Active Esthetician or Cosmetologist license required.
• Ability to build rapport and maintain guest trust.
• Comfort with product recommendations and service upsells.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional waxing services in accordance with brand protocols and licensing requirements.
• Greet guests warmly, communicate clearly, and educate on post-wax care and service frequency.
• Build genuine guest relationships to drive repeat visits and referrals.
• Maintain a clean, sterile wax suite and uphold hygiene standards.
