Responsibilities

• Read and apply the Quality Engineering Specification (QES) to the visual inspection of a casting using a scan pattern.
• Indications are evaluated and a decision is made to accept or reject the casting based on QES.
• Operate air-powered tools to remove defects and/or rework castings.
• Grit blast parts in an enclosed grit blast cabinet as necessary.
• Toy Soldier inspection to identify differences in groups per QES.
• Lift of individual parts up to 6 pounds and trays up to 25 pounds.
