Job summary

PCC Airfoils, LLC is seeking aQuality Inspector to perform systematic visual inspections of cast parts. You will read and apply the QES, evaluate indications, and decide on accept/reject decisions. The role requires operating air-powered tools, grit blasting, and occasional training of newer inspectors.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least nine months of on-the-job training, with the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and accommodate overtime, including weekends, as needed.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Nine months on-the-job training required.

Responsibilities

• Read and apply the Quality Engineering Specification (QES) to the visual inspection of a casting.
• Evaluate indications and decide to accept or reject per the QES.
• Operate air powered tools to remove defects and/or rework castings.
• Grit blast parts in an enclosed grit blast cabinet as needed.
• Perform "Toy Soldier" inspections to identify differences per the QES.
• Lift individual parts up to 6 pounds and trays up to 25 pounds.
• Ensure parts meet quality standards; may train Inspectors as required.
• Be willing to work daily and weekend overtime as necessary.
