Ideal candidates will have at least one year of relevant wax inspection experience, be able to read precision tools, and work independently in a manufacturing setting with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• One year of wax molding or assembly inspection experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to perform wax dimensional inspection using proper techniques.
• Ability to read precision hand tools and related specifications.
• Familiarity with common dimensional inspection tools and setups.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Vision and color perception tests as required.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects wax patterns for surface defects and flaws.
• Inspects components with height gauges, micrometers, calipers, and ultrasound.
• Performs SPC calculations and reports results to engineers.
• Works with engineers to test inspection techniques and resolve defects.
• Enters dimensional data into a computer and prepares reports.
• Completes logs and records; may train less skilled personnel.
