Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking an assembler to dress and assemble patterns of wax or other synthetics under the direction of the Supervisor. You will follow instructions, prepare components, and work at an assembly bench using various tools.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of manufacturing experience. The role requires attention to detail, ability to read instructions, and willingness to work overtime as needed. Regular attendance is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• At least one year manufacturing experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to communicate production information both in writing and verbally.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
• Regular attendance and the ability to work weekday and weekend overtime.

Responsibilities

• Receives instructions from Area Supervisor and assembles patterns and components of wax or synthetics.
• Inspects patterns for defects and repairs joints as needed.
• Moves completed clusters to Manufacturing Process Inspector and gathers supplies.
• Unloads clusters from vendor trucks and prepares components for Wax OV’s.
• Maintains daily reporting and SPC charts where required.
• Reports faulty processes and keeps work area clean.
