Precision Castparts in Mentor, OH is seeking a Wax Assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble wax patterns and components used in the investment casting process while maintaining high quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing, production, or related industrial experience preferred.
• Previous experience in investment casting, aerospace manufacturing, foundry operations, wax assembly, production assembly, manufacturing operations, quality inspection, quality control, or precision manufacturing is a plus.
• Experience using hand tools, measuring instruments, fixtures, racks, tables, and other manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance record.
• Ability to meet production goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wax patterns and components according to established procedures and specifications.
• Inspect wax assemblies for defects and quality concerns.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment to complete assembly operations.
• Record production and quality data as required.
• Maintain accurate daily time and production records.
• Handle materials safely and follow all company safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
• Follow all quality standards and work instructions.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
