Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. seeks a Wax Assembler to efficiently perform all operations and operate equipment for wax pattern assembly. Responsibilities include assembling clusters, inspecting components, ensuring specifications, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role requires flexibility between assembly and wax dress, good communication, and ability to follow SOPs with attention to detail. Opportunities exist within a large aerospace manufacturing group.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Must meet defined visual acuity when required.
• Must meet color perception standards when required.
• Additional training to comply with SOP/ Certifications when required.
• Must learn job specifications for new customers including changes by existing customers.
• Flexibility between assembly and wax dress departments.
• Demonstrate good communication skills.
• Proficiency in applicable procedure instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wax pattern clusters per procedures (PEI/SOP).
• Inspect components before and after assembly for defects; check corners, lugs, pins, and serial numbers.
• Determine acceptability to specifications.
• Return patterns to appropriate stations or operators.
• Identify work in Lot Control and affix identification to molds.
• Meet productivity and quality requirements.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE at all times.
• Keep work area and equipment clean, orderly, and safe.
• Comply with all SOPs.
• Perform all other duties assigned by supervision.
