Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. seeks a Wax Molder to produce wax patterns, chills, gates, and solubles, while ensuring quality and safety in the molding area. You will operate wax press machinery, inspect patterns, and document daily molding paperwork in a clean, organized environment.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to operate a forklift. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

• Strong mechanical aptitude with good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate wax press machinery and related tooling safely.
• Clean, handle and store wax molding tooling.
• Read and follow setup techniques for each tool.
• Perform general cleaning of the molding area and equipment.
• Inspect wax patterns for quality.
• Document daily paperwork for molding operations.
• Identify and document tooling damage and operational issues.
• Set up and inspect new or reworked tooling.
• Receive and inspect raw materials.
• Perform leach tank operations as needed.
• Perform monthly maintenance duties.
• Write work instructions for molding operations.
• Adhere to plant and department safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
