Precision Castparts in Georgia seeks a Wax Assembler to join the Wax department. The role involves assembling/dressing wax patterns, following engineering procedures, and inspecting components for defects. OJT experience is required and daily/weekend overtime may be necessary.

The position requires a high school diploma and the ability to lift 2–30 pounds, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship. This entry-level role offers hands-on training in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Three months on-the-job training (OJT).
• Ability to lift/move 2–30 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsabilités

• Assemble/dress wax patterns and operate wax-assembly equipment efficiently.
• Assemble pattern per Engineering procedures.
• Inspect components before and after assembly for defects; check edges and pins.
• Wax dipseal mold after assembly as needed.
• Visually inspect wax patterns and clusters after each operation.
• Determine acceptability to specifications and route patterns accordingly.
• Label work with personal identification and maintain lot control records.
• Meet daily team goals and follow safety rules; maintain a clean and safe work area.
