Job summary

HiFyve in the Kansas City metro is seeking a Wave Solder Machine Operator for the 1st shift in Olathe, KS. You will set up, run, monitor and perform light maintenance on the wave soldering equipment used to assemble PCBs, ensuring solder quality and safety.

The role reports to Production Supervisor and requires reading work instructions, attention to detail, and the ability to work with Process Engineering, Quality and Production to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Experience with wave soldering processes
• Ability to read manufacturing instructions
• Attention to quality and safety guidelines
• Experience in electronics manufacturing or PCB assembly preferred

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate wave solder machines per schedules and specs
• Monitor solder flow and temperature for quality
• Load and unload PCB assemblies through the wave solder system
• Inspect assemblies for defects like bridging and cold solder joints
• Perform light machine maintenance and cleaning
• Document production records and quality metrics
• Collaborate with Process Engineering, Quality and Production
• Maintain a clean, safe 6S compliant workspace
