Job summary

QVC Group is seeking a Wave Planning Assistant to join the Piney Flats, TN site. This onsite role focuses on releasing outbound waves, coordinating with picking, staging, automation, and packing to meet daily goals.

You will report to the Outbound Area Manager and help maintain smooth fulfillment operations. The ideal candidate has 1+ year in a warehouse/fulfillment setting, with working knowledge of WMS systems and strong spreadsheet skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment environment.
• Working knowledge of WMS systems and basic computer applications (spreadsheets with complex functions, reporting tools).
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Release and manage outbound order waves to support daily production goals across picking, staging, automation, and packing areas.
• Monitor wave progress and communicate status updates, aged tasks, and priorities to operational teams.
• Adjust wave parameters based on labor availability, inventory, and needs to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Troubleshoot workflow issues and elevate or resolve problems to keep orders moving.
• Support cross-functional partners to ensure accurate processing of customer orders.

Where You'll Work

This is an onsite position based at our Piney Flats, TN facility. You'll be part of the daily operations that keep our fulfillment network moving. We do not offer relocation assistance for this role.

Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday 12:30am - 11:00am

What You'll Do

• Release and manage outbound order waves to support daily production goals across picking, staging, automation, and packing areas.
• Monitor wave progress and communicate status updates, aged tasks, and priorities to operational teams.
• Adjust wave parameters based on labor availability, inventory, and our needs to maintain workflow efficiency.

What You'll Bring
