Job summary

Americold is seeking a warehouse operations professional to allocate orders, release work to the floor, and balance workflow to maximize productivity. You will resolve shortages, manage order cuts, and communicate with customers while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Occasional travel for business may be required. Required: a high school diploma or GED and experience in warehouse operations or related systems; proficiency in basic PC software, Americold systems, and Microsoft

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred or 1 year warehouse ops experience.
Proficiency with basic PC software and Americold systems required.
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and MS Office Suite required.
Ability to train users on relevant systems and troubleshoot problems.

Responsibilities

Allocate orders and release work to balance workflow.
Resolve order shortages and manage order cuts with updates to customers.
Prioritize tasks for Lift Truck Operators and Dock Supervisors.
Ensure dock offices use inbound/outbound dock optimization for receipts and orders.
Run labor reports and review performance with supervisors and office manager.
Update base priorities, work zones, velocity zones, and pick locations.
Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives; troubleshoot systems.
