Job summary

Americold is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to allocate orders, release work on the floor, and balance workflow for optimal productivity. You will resolve shortages, manage order cuts, and communicate with customers to maintain service levels.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, proficiency with basic PC software and Americold systems, and experience with Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or at least 1 year of warehouse operations experience.
• Proficiency with basic PC software and Americold systems required.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Ability to train users on relevant systems and troubleshoot system problems required.

Responsibilities

• Allocate orders and release work to the warehouse floor to balance workflow and optimize productivity.
• Resolve order shortages and manage order cuts while communicating updates to customers.
• Prioritize tasks for Lift Truck Operators and Dock Supervisors to ensure efficient operations.
• Run labor reports and review with Dock Supervisors and Office Manager to monitor performance.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and safety programs.
