Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a Warehouse Operations professional in Mountville, PA to balance workflow and optimize productivity on the warehouse floor. You will allocate orders, release work, and support inbound/outbound truck turn times while maintaining communication with customers.

The role requires basic PC skills, knowledge of WMS and Microsoft Office, and the ability to train users and troubleshoot systems. Some travel may be involved in occasional business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or minimum 1 year of warehouse operations experience required.
• Proficiency with basic PC software and Americold systems required.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Ability to train users on relevant systems and troubleshoot system problems required.

Responsibilities

• Allocate orders and release work to the warehouse floor to balance workflow and optimize productivity.
• Resolve order product shortages and manage order cuts while communicating updates to customers.
• Prioritize tasks for Lift Truck Operators and Dock Supervisors to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure dock office utilizes inbound and outbound dock optimization functionality for each receipt and order.
• Run labor reports and review with Dock Supervisors and Office Manager to monitor performance.
• Review and update base priorities, work zone assignments, product code velocity zones, and pick locations in collaboration with Operations Manager.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement projects and safety programs and troubleshoot systems issues as needed.
• Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.
