Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Sales Project Manager for our Waterworks Division in a flexible, office-based role with some on-site visits. The position focuses on administering water and wastewater projects, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining key client relationships.

The ideal candidate has PM or coordination experience in construction and waterworks, plus familiarity with estimating software and Salesforce. Regular business hours support a balanced work life.

Qualifications

• Experience leading construction projects, especially water/wastewater or waterworks.
• 2+ years in Construction Project Management or as a Project Coordinator.
• 2+ years in Waterworks or related fields preferred.
• Experience with industrial or commercial plumbing products is a plus.
• Familiarity with digital takeoff and estimating software such as PlanSwift or Bid Tracer.
• Strong office software skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Salesforce experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of a project from start to finish, on time and within budget.
• Recommend products and services that fit clients' business needs.
• Execute project according to the organization’s PM methodology and plan.
• Establish and maintain sales relationships with major accounts/customers.
• Answer branch phone calls with high-level service quality.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure on-time delivery and satisfaction.
• Supervise progress against the project plan and resolve delays.
• Work with partners and clients to determine scope, specs, and requirements.
• Conduct project meetings and prepare regular status reports.
• Allocate resources and assign tasks to meet targets.
• Provide assistance to program/project managers to ensure alignment with the plan.
