Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial company, seeks a Safety Manager to lead project safety on major infrastructure sites in Texas. You will implement OSHA standards, plan complex safety aspects, supervise crew training, and coordinate with owners and subcontractors.

The role requires CSHO or CSHT certification, 5+ years of construction safety experience, and English proficiency; Spanish is a plus. Travel might be required, and a competitive compensation package is offered.

Qualifications

• CSHO/CSHT certification required.
• 5+ years of experience in managing construction safety.
• Valid driver's license for frequent travel.
• English communication skills required (verbal and written).
• Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Uphold a Safety First culture across the project team.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and local safety standards.
• Coordinate with field supervision on complex safety elements (lifts, traffic control, work plans).
• Supervise safety personnel selection, training and performance reviews.
• Build relationships with owners, Webber staff, and public entities.
• Read and implement work specifications and contracts.
• Forecast conflicts and implement preventative safety actions.
• Oversee subcontractor safety management and incident reporting.
• Present safety information to managers, clients, and public audiences.
