Job summary

Ferrovial, a global leader in infrastructure with the Webber subsidiary, is seeking a construction supervisor to manage crews, materials, and equipment to ensure work follows specifications and stays on schedule.

Role emphasizes safety, leadership, and adherence to project plans while coordinating with senior supervisors to drive on-site efficiency and deliver projects like major healthcare and transportation infrastructure across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
• Comply with safety policies, practices and procedures.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Create and complete a job safety analysis every morning to address safety concerns to ensure the employees work in a safe manner.
• Oversee crew's activities efficiently.
• Supervise, manage, and direct the training, development, appraisal and work assignments crew members.
• Have a strong understanding of the project plans for specific duties.
• Have a strong comprehension of blue prints and specifications.
• Manage tools, materials and supplies.
• Manage the equipment utilization.
• Immediate response to site production issues.
• Report the crew's hours worked and code time accurately on daily timesheet.
• Whatever enhances the operations of the company.
