Job summary

Ferguson is seeking an Estimator / Quotations Specialist in Olympia, WA, responsible for developing quotations for waterworks projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction-related estimating and waterworks products.

Qualifications

• Experience with waterworks products is highly preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints or drawings is preferred.
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather data for quote preparation and contact vendors for job quotes.
• Work with partners to determine project scope and specifications.
• Keep current on new products and market costs.
• Follow up on customer quotes and coordinate with vendors.

Skills

Construction-related quotations or estimating experience

Familiarity with customer quotations software

Strong proficiency with computer and software programs

Excellent communication skills

Ability to adapt and multitask

Tools

Planswift or similar estimating software
