Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Waterworks Quotations Manager to lead quotation efforts across four markets from a hybrid office setup in Bismarck, ND or nearby markets. The role requires coordinating with sales, engineers, and vendors to deliver accurate material estimates and cost analyses.

You will develop and mentor a team, maintain supplier relationships, and ensure safe, compliant operations while driving successful project bids and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction-related project management, project coordination, quotations, or estimating experience.
• Waterworks quotations or product knowledge is required.
• Prior use of PlanSwift, BidTracer, Salesforce, or similar estimating software is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with customer quotations software, such as Planswift, Blubeam, and On Center are highly preferred.
• Construction experience with water & sewer and storm drain materials is a plus.
• Knowledge of wastewater treatment plants, booster pumps, pump stations, a plus.
• Ability to be flexible, adaptable and multitasking skills needed, including juggle multiple requests in a timely manner.
• Self-starter, creative problem solver, and eagerness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee local quotation efforts across our 4 markets (Bismarck, Fargo, Sioux Falls, Rapid City).
• Build project material estimates and perform material takeoffs as needed.
• Daily communication with sales to generate feedback and follow up of quotations process and product.
• Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes to cost estimates.
• Follow up on customer quotes and contact vendors for pricing.
• Analyze specifications and drawings to build material cost estimates.
• Lead and develop a team of associates to meet schedules and targets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors for exceptional service.
