Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC. seeks a Waterworks Quotations Manager to lead quotation efforts across Bismarck, Fargo, ND, and Sioux Falls, SD. You will build material estimates and coordinate with sales, engineers, and vendors to deliver accurate bids.

The role is hybrid with three days in the office and two days remote. Candidates should have 5+ years in construction project management and experience with estimating software such as PlanSwift or Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction related project management, project coordinator, quotations, or estimating experience, highly preferred.
• Waterworks quotations or product knowledge is required.
• Prior use of PlanSwift, BidTracer, Salesforce, or similar estimating software, highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee local quotation efforts and staff across markets (Bismarck, Fargo, Sioux Falls, Rapid City).
• Builds project material estimates and performs takeoffs for multiple markets.
• Communicate with sales to feedback on quotations and follow up on the process and product.
• Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on cost estimate changes.
• Lead and develop a team to ensure resources and schedules meet targets.

This is a hybrid role that can be based out of any of our 3 markets that include (Bismarck, ND, Fargo, ND, or Sioux Falls, SD). An in-office presence in accordance with Ferguson's Flex schedule; 3 days office / 2 days remote will be necessary.Responsibilities:Manage and oversee local quotation efforts and staff across our 4 markets that include Bismarck and Fargo, ND and Sioux Falls and Rapid City, SD.Builds project material estimates and performs material takeoffs as needed for multiple markets within the region.Daily communication with sales team to generate feedback and follow up of quotations process and productConfer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimatesFollow up on customer quotes and contacts vendors for material pricingAnalyze specifications, including sketches, blueprints, bills of material, or sample layouts to build material cost estimatesAssess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project developsLead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of associates to ensure the team's resources are used effectively and work schedules and targets are metProvide direction and guidance to less experienced team membersDevelops and maintains relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure coordination and exceptional service levelsPerforms all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations and proceduresRepresent the organization to customers, associates and leadership as neededQualifications:5+ years of construction related project management, project coordinator, quotations, or estimating experience, highly preferredWaterworks quotations or product knowledge is requiredPrior use of PlanSwift, BidTracer, Salesforce, or similar estimating software, highly preferredFamiliarity with customer quotations software, such as Planswift, Blubeam, and On Center are highly preferredConstruction experience with water & sewer and storm drain materials, a huge plusKnowledge of wastewater treatment plants, booster pumps, pump stations, a plusAbility to be flexible, adaptable and multitasking skills needed, including the ability to juggle multiple requests in a timely mannerSelf-starter, creative problem solver, and eagerness to learn and growStrong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with people at multiple levels of the organizationAbility to function effectively in an autonomous settingProven attention to detail coupled with organizational skillsAt Ferguson, we care for each other.
