Job summary

Requires knowledge of water treatment processes, safety, and the capacity to read drawings and operate plant equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of work experience in a drinking water plant or related area.
• Valid State of Georgia Driver’s License required.
• Class I Water License required; Class II/III may be required depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Performs sampling, monitoring and testing to maintain compliance with regulations.
• Assists in maintenance and repairs of plant equipment and machinery.
• On-call to respond to emergencies and plant breakdowns.
• Trains staff on proper procedures for water facilities.
