Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications may be preferred.
• Experience operating and maintaining water treatment facilities or watershed assets is desirable.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and to work with SCADA/PMCS systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment, water treatment facilities, reservoirs, and aqueduct systems.
• Monitor control systems (SCADA/PMCS) and perform routine inspections.
• Take water samples and ensure water quality per DEP requirements.
• Maintain logs of operations and equipment performance.
• Assist with repairs to facilities, lands, roads, and structures.
• Support emergency response and safety procedures.
• Work shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
