Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in related field.
• Professional registration for the core service overseen.
• Experience building and leading diverse teams.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other HDR directors and managers.
• Commitment to HDR values and employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Lead and coordinate with related business classes, market sectors and operations.
• Drive risk management through process and resource reviews and maintain quality standards.
• Oversee quality assurance and coordination with the Quality Manager.
• Develop and apply technical tools, standards and techniques to enhance service quality.
• Collaborate with market sector directors to plan strategy and trends.
• Foster teamwork and communication across offices and staff.
• Monitor direction, policies, and workload allocation within the business class.
• Recruit and train staff to build technical capacity.
• Mentor technical leaders and support project pursuits.
• Represent HDR in industry organizations and events.
